The Next Group of Broadcast Professional Hopefuls Graduates from the Columbia School of Broadcasting
The Television curriculum of the Columbia School of Broadcasting graduated Saturday December 18th, 2004. The class included a seasoned cable TV host, whose show airs in Richmond Virginia, Kevin Bledsoe. Besides being an accomplished musician he also hosts the Richmond cable show known as the Captones.
The show features contemporary music artists from the local area. Also in this class, several students with their own list of accomplishments including Supriya Harris, model and commercial artist, Kat Cook an actress with several parts in TV shows to her credit, and Jose Bentura an independent business entrepreneur.
Other graduates with enterprising futures in TV include Tasha Dancy, Martha Ekawati originally from Indonesia, and Losia Nyankale. The course which has been offered twice a year for the past ten years, prepares students for positions as television reporters, news anchors, show hosts, Interviewers, commercial artists, sports reporters, weather reporting, and various on air announcer positions. The students are filmed every class for the nine weeks of the course. By the end of the class, their on air personalities are dominating the lens and any on camera hesitation is a thing of the past.
This class is the second class of 2004.
The first class included as graduates Alan Frankle a Baltimore radio personality, Siska Amelia Miss Indonesia 2003, who is the host of the Miss Indonesia 2004 pageant, Michael James from Australia and a Physical fitness instructor at the World Bank and voice over artist on
fitness CD, and Galena White from England. 2005 looks very promising for this group of talented individuals that join the largest broadcasting alumni in the country, the Columbia School of Broadcasting, including Burton Richardson the voice of "The Price is Right"..

We often spend a lot of time doing something right when we shouldn't even be doing it at all. I remember during university, I was cleaning my bathroom very efficiently.
